A High Flying Kite Competition On The Palatka Riverfront
At 1:00 PM during the Dragon Boat festival, please join us for the "Dragon Fly" Kite Competition.

Buy a kite, make a kite or pick up one of our Free kites from a participating merchant to decorate, assemble and compete.
We will judge competitors in a number of categories to choose our winners.
- Best dragon themed kite.
- Best home crafted kite. (see our instructions to make your own kite)
- Best store bought kite.
- The ability to fly and must fly for at least 15 minutes.
- Height of kite flight.
- Steady flight.
Registration at 12:00 Noon
Kite Flying at 1:00 PM
Judging from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM
Prizes Announced at 2:00 PM
